Nineteen-year-old Syo is an aspiring conservationist, and a vicious adversary to destroyers of the environment. On his way back to his dorm from downtown, he stops in the woods to gather some data for his recently given report project.
There, he comes across the log cabin of a rugged and reclusive woodsman named Jack. Tall, burly, and bearded, he’s the epitome of a cliché lumberjack. Syo instantly detests him, a killer of the woods, but is also strangely aroused by his masculine beauty and aura.
But there’s more to Jack than muscles and an axe, and without even trying, he shakes everything that Syo knows about life and himself. Perhaps one night, two strong hands, and a touch of wisdom can provide the succor that the boy can’t refuse.

What I loved about this story was the truthfulness in the characters and their transformation by the end of the story. Idealism of youth is well represented in Syo with his school book knowledge, but also his innocent sort of arrogance which Jack rattles with his presence. Jack is a man Syo thought he knew simply by the stereotype. Soon Syo learns a man living off the land does less damage to the environment than Syo does driving his car. As for heat and realism, this story has both, and I'd like to see more from this author. This story is well worth the time it took to read. Jack is my favorite and I'd love to see him with Syo again.Product details

This story kept me engaged from start to finish with how interesting Syo and Jack are and their interactions together! WELL worth the money!
This is a really hot opposites attract romance between Syo, a budding conservationish, and Jack, a rugged woodsman. The characters are well sculped and there's some genuine conflict between them, rare in erotic romances of this length. A stunning debut from this writer - recommended.
I fell in love with this story!!! Although it was a short read, it was very detailed and juicy. I loved how I could envision the characters and their setting and furthermore feel what Syo was feeling. I applaud the author and his work. I hope there will be more stories from Nova in the future and look forward to it!!!!
